UNISA Online Registration 2026 Dates

Unisa registration dates may differ depending on the program/course of study, qualification of study, and level of study. Below are the registration dates for all qualifications for the 2026-2027 academic year:

Unisa Online Registration 2026 Dates for Four Undergraduate/Honours/Master’s Students:

Unisa has extended the closing date for semester 2 registrations to Monday, 29 July. The final date for initial minimum payments for semester 2 modules has been extended to Wednesday, 31 July.
Registration for master’s and doctoral qualifications for the 2026 academic year is open from 10 January to 30 April 2025 (some exceptions apply). Semester 2 registrations for the MBA and MBL qualifications will open on 28 June and close on 19 July 2025.
Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes will be open from 10 January to 15 March.

UNISA Registration Documents 2026-2027

All prospective students must upload certified copies of supporting documents during their Registration process. The following documents are required to register at UNISA;

Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

Register with Unisa. To register, click “Go”
Select your qualification.
Fill in the blanks with your student number and any other information required. (You would not be allowed to proceed if you do not have a student number.)
To be considered for entry, you should apply online. A student number will be produced and sent to you during this process.)

Do not select more than the required number of modules per semester or year; otherwise, this may cause a delay in processing your enrollment.
