UNISA Registration Status Check 2026-2027

UNISA Registration Status Check 2026-2027

How Do I Check My Unisa Registration Status For 2026?

Upon registration, all students at the University of South Africa (UNISA) are issued a complimentary myLife email address. After completing your registration, it is imperative to activate your myLife email account. This email account is the sole address acknowledged by UNISA for official communication between you and the university. Throughout your tenure at UNISA, your myLife email will serve as your primary and official means of electronic correspondence with the institution.

With the exclusion of study guides, all subsequent correspondence will be directed to your myLife email address. This includes follow-up tutorial letters, examination timetables and results, financial statements, and general communications. Although alternative communication channels may be utilised occasionally, your myLife email account will be the primary mode of communication from the university. When contacting UNISA via email, it is essential to include your student number in the subject line for efficient communication.

Ensuring your registration status is up-to-date is an essential step in preparing for a successful year ahead. If you are a new applicant or a returning student, knowing how to check your Unisa registration status can save you time and help you avoid last-minute issues. This guide will walk you through the process of checking your Unisa registration status for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Understanding UNISA Registration and Re-Registration

  • New Applicants:

After applying and receiving an offer from UNISA, you must accept the offer before proceeding with registration. Only after this acceptance can you register for your chosen qualification.

  • Re-Registering Students:

Current students continuing with the same qualification must complete the re-registration process during the specified period using their registration details.

Re-registration is essential for continuing your studies, selecting modules for the new academic year, and maintaining your student status. For the 2026-2027 cycle, UNISA’s online system streamlines this process, ensuring students provide all necessary information before final submission
