UNISA Applications Admission Date 2025-2026
Unisa online application date differ based on the level of study, qualification of study and other factors. Application date for the various qualification at UNISA are as follows:
- Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) Application: 11 August to 14 October.
- Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 11 August to 14 October
- Master’s & doctoral qualifications: 8 September to 14 November

Who Must Apply to UNISA 2025-2026?
- All individuals aiming to commence a new qualification are required to undergo the admission. This encompasses prospective Unisa applicants who are initiating their journey with the institution for the first time, as well as current Unisa students seeking to transition to a different qualification or specialization.
- If you’re currently pursuing a higher certificate and aspire to pursue further undergraduate studies, it may imperative to submit an admission application to continue your academic journey seamlessly.
- In cases where you previously applied for admission, received an offer of placement, but chose not to accept the offer or failed to register for any reason, you must initiate a fresh admission application to be reconsidered for admission.
- Individuals intending to enroll in courses offered by a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement are also mandated to apply for admission through the designated channels.

UNISA Application Admission Requirements 2025-2026
All applicants must ensure that they:
- meet the statutory and college admission requirements for my qualification(s) of choice.
- meet the minimum academic points score (APS) for my qualification(s) of choice.
- have a valid e-mail address and cellphone number, and I accept that Unisa will communicate with me during the application process using this email address and cellphone number.
- If you do not have an e-mail address, you may create a free email address via Gmail before you start the application process.
NOTE: Remember to save your email address and password. It is very important that you check your emails regularly for communication from Unisa about your application.

UNISA Application Documents Required 2025-2026
All applicants starting a new qualification must upload all the required documents. Here are the documents required for application:
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

- Visit the official website of UNISA
- Navigate to the registration portal and click on ” Apply for Admission
- Click On “Apply Now”
- Complete the application form with the required information
- Upload certified copies of supporting documents
- Pay your non-refundable application fee of R125.00
- Cross Check your application to ensure that your application is complete
However,If your application for admission to study through Unisa is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.
