Unisa Student Number; All students needs their student number before they can claim their Unisa logins or even track your application status. Also, you will need a student number to register. All students or candidates without formal student number can get one by applying for it. If you do not have a formal student number then follow the steps below to apply for one:
How To Get A Student Number
Step 1; Apply online for a student number. You’ll need to apply online for admission and during this process, a student number will be generated and communicated to you.
Step 2; Pay an application fee of R115. Unisa does not accept cheques. Deposit fee into the Unisa account at First National Bank. Also, you can visit the college website for the payment details and methods for fees.
Step 3; You will receive a notification via SMS and Email that your application for a student number is successful. Therefore make sure you provide you cellphone number and valid email address when applying for the student number.
Students can only register once they have their Unisa student number. Also, students who have lost their student number or can not remember it can recover or retrieve it.
Unisa Forgot Student Number
The following steps will guide you on how to retrieve or get back your student number if you don’t remember it or have lost it;
Step 1; Go to the homepage of myUnisa (https://my.unisa.ac.za/portal)
Step 2; Click on “Forgotten Student Number?” in the left navigation bar.
Step 3; Enter the require details to search for your student number. Read through the instructions provided in order not to make mistakes but retrieve student number successfully.
All you need to provide is your full name, date of birth and either your identification number or passport. Please leave one blank space/character between names. Then submit your details provided by you to search for your student number.
