UNISA Application portal opens for applications from New and returning students for the 2027-2028 academic year on the following dates:

• Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2027 academic year are to open from 17th of August to the 09th of October 2026
• Applications for admission to honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2027 academic year are to be open from 17th of August to the 09th of October 2026
• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2027 academic year are to be open from 1st September to 20th November 2026 (some exceptions apply).
• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 2nd November 2027

• A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
