How To Apply for Admission at UNISA 2024-2025
Admission to Unisa for the academic year 2024-2025 is primarily done online on the official website of the university . If you want to apply for admission to a new programme at UNISA, go to www.unisa.ac.za for all online application processes. Before you begin the online application process, you must meet UNISA’s admission standards.
This is due to the fact that you will be required to upload all of your supporting documents, including your school certificate, whether Senior or National Senior, your ID documents (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students), your marriage certificate (if applicable), or divorce decree (if applicable), and more.

UNISA Application Date 2024-2025
The application portal for admission for the 2024-2025 academic year opens annually for new applications from prospective students. The application portal opens in September and close in November for Master’s & doctoral qualifications, but some exceptions are applied, and Application for admission to Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) open from August to October as well as Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas.

Documents Required To Apply Online At UNISA 2024-2025
All applicants are required to submit certified copies of the documents listed below during application:
- A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- A copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- A copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- A copy of Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
- A copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)

Admissions to UNISA for the 2024-2025 academic year must be made online using the university’s official website. The online application process is quick, uncomplicated, and can be completed at any time and from any location. Follow the procedures below to apply online for the 2024-2025 academic year at UNISA:

- Pay your non-refundable application fee of R125.00
