UNISA online application has been open for the 2024-2025 academic year. Prospective students may begin to apply NOW to secure the chance of study at the prestigious university for the 2024-2025 academic year. The online application portal is open to all interested high school graduans of South Africa and Foreigners who meet the admission requirements of the institution.

UNISA Online Application Date 2024-2025
- Applications for admission to UNISA opens in September and close in November for Master’s & doctoral qualifications, but some exceptions are applied.
- Application for admission to Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) open from August to October as well as Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas.
UNISA Online Application Required Documents 2024-2025
Before applying to study at UNISA, you must have the following supporting documents:
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

UNISA Online Application Procedure 2024-2025
Follow the steps below to apply online at UNISA:
- Visit the official website of UNISA at : https://www.unisa.ac.za/
- Navigate to the registration portal on the homepage and click on ” Apply for Admission
- Click On “Apply Now”
- Complete the application form with the required information
- Upload certified copies of supporting documents
- Pay your non-refundable application fee of R125.00
- Crosscheck your application to ensure that your application is complete
- Submit your application before the closing date.

UNISA Application fee for 2024-2025
Pay an online application fee of R125.00 is required for online applications. Please remember that the application fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through UNISA or do not qualify for admission to UNISA.
All applicants are to complete the application. If applications for admission to study through UNISA is not complete, you will have to re-apply for admission during the next prescribed application period. The application fee is payable on the last day of the application session. Any application that is not accompanied by a timely payment of the application fee will be rejected. Please keep a copy of your payment evidence on file.
