APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO THE 2023 ACADEMIC YEAR
The online application for admission to the University of South Africa (UNISA) for the academic year 2023-2024 is now open. All applicants who wish to begin a new programme should submit an application for admission. The opening and closing dates for UNISA applications for the 2023-2024 academic year have been released and published on the UNISA website: www.unisa.ac.za.

- UNISA Application dates for 2023-2024 Undergraduate qualifications open 1st September 2023 and close 30th November 2023
- UNISA Application for 2023-2024 admission dates to Honours degree & Postgraduate diplomas open 1st September 2023 and close 15 December 2023
- UNISA Application dates for 2023-2024 Masters’s & Doctoral qualifications open on 15th September 2023 and close on 6th November 2023

HOW TO APPLY AT UNISA ONLINE 2023
The University of South, UNISA Application for admission to the 2023-2024 academic year is fully online. Everyone who wishes to study at UNISA for 2022 must apply for admission. The application for admission includes the following:
- All first time and UNISA students applying for a new qualification
- All UNISA Students who are changing to a new programme
- All UNISA students who want to specialise in a programme
- Applicants who earlier on applied for admission but did not offer a space
- Applicants who were offered a space and accepted the offer but did not register
- Those who are completing a higher certificate programme or any other the programme and wish to continue undergraduate studies
- All applicants are in their final year of an Undergraduate qualification study and wish to continue with postgraduate studies.
- Students who are in their final year of a qualification who wants to start a master’s or doctoral programme
