Unisa Nursing Courses; Bachelor of Arts in Nursing Science as well as Master of Arts in Nursing Science.
The goal of this qualification is to help students develop skills, knowledge and experience to: solve problems by working in a team and independently in a professional communication context, manage administration, including financial administration, provide organizational support in a communication environment, and practice ethical conduct, values and professionalism when interacting with clients.

How to Choose Your Modules
- At least 36 NQF credits in your first year of study (3 modules of 12 credits each).
- At least 48 NQF credits in your second or subsequent years of study (4 modules of 12 credits each).

At least 60 NQF credits in a semester (5 modules of 12 credits each).

For annual modules, at least 120 NQF credits (10 modules of 12 credits each per year.
- 6 to 8 hours a week for modules of the semester.
- 4 to 6 hours a week for modules for the year.
Master of Arts in Nursing Science( Full Research)
Requirements for Admission
Professional nurses with a suitable bachelor’s degree or postgraduate diploma or professional nurses who have completed a 4-year basic nursing degree program or Professional nurses with a 4-year basic nursing diploma program or Professional nurses who have completed a 3-year basic nursing diploma with an additional post-basic field qualification.
