Unisa Fees; When to pay fees, application fee, study fees and Payment methods

Application Fee

Application fee for online admission to Unisa is R115. Pay the application fee once Unisa has given you a student number. And if you decide not to study through Unisa or don’t apply for Unisa entry, this charge is non-refundable. The due date for the application fee shall be the closing date for the duration of application. There will be no processing of any application submitted without an application fee. Please keep a copy of your proof of payment.

Study Fees

The study fees for Unisa are usually lower than for other institutions of higher education, but either way, studying is a major investment. Obviously, the cost depends on the qualification, as well as the number of modules you choose. Before confirming your modules for registration, it is important to determine the full cost of your studies. The number of modules you can register for will be determined by what you can afford. Depending on your qualification, your number of courses, and so on, our fees vary, but they basically include prescribed student fees (including registration fees), miscellaneous fees, and additional study material fees.

In order for the university to process your registration before the applicable closing date, pay all fees into the correct bank account with the correct reference number. We have a range of different payment methods for your convenience.The following are the payment methods:

Bursaries and Loans for Students at Unisa

Unisa Division: Student Support (DSF) administers donor funding to Unisa students in the form of bursaries and loans. The conditions for the award of these bursaries as well as loans are decided by the funding donors. All application are available at www.unisa.ac.za/studentfunding.
