Who Is Qualified For Unisa Application For 2025
You qualify to apply to Unisa if:
- Fresh applicants
- Continuous students changing to a new qualification or specialization
- applicants who previously applied for admission and were not offered a space or who were offered a space accepted the offer and did not register
- students completing a higher certificate or any other program and who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies

Unisa 2025 Application Date For Undergraduate Qualifications:
- Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
Unisa 2025 Application Date For Honours Degrees & Postgraduate Diplomas:
- Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
Unisa 2025 Application Date For Masters & Doctoral Qualifications:
- Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).
Unisa 2025 Application Date For Short Learning Programmes:
- Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July.

Unisa Application Requirements For 2025
Applicants are to upload the following documents when applying for admission to Unisa:
- Copy of your school qualifications
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable)
- Certified copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/ passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

UNISA Application Procedure 2025-2026
All applications for admission at Unisa for the pending academic year must be done online on the official website of Unisa. To apply online at Unisa, follow the procedure below:

- On the registration portal click on ” Apply for Admission
- Click On “Apply Now”
- Complete the application form with the required information
- Upload certified copies of supporting documents
- Make payment of your non-refundable application fee of R140.00
