- Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2026 academic year to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2026.
- Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2026 academic year to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2026 (some exceptions apply).
- Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programs are open from 14 May to 19 July 2026.
How To Check The Status Of Your Application For Admission 2026-2027
To know the status of your application, follow the steps below:
- Go to the official Unisa website at www.unisa.ac.za.
- Click on the “myUnisa” link to log in
- Enter your login credentials. Provide your student number (or application number) and the password.
- Once logged in, navigate to the “My Admin” tab.

Your application status might be classified as one of the following:
