How to Access and Manage Your MyLife Email for 2027-2028
If you are a registered student at the University of South Africa, your MyLife Email 2027-2028 is more than just an inbox – it is your official lifeline to the university. Unisa provides every registered student with a free myLife email account, and once your registration is finalised, this becomes the only email address Unisa will use for all official correspondence. Whether it is about your application status, registration confirmation, exam timetable, assignment results, or important announcements from your college, everything will be sent to your myLife account. That is why activating and regularly checking your MyLife Email for 2027-2028 is non-negotiable.
Due to a recent Microsoft update, there has been a change in how you access your account. You can no longer directly access your myLife email while logged into myUnisa. The new procedure is simple and direct. Go to http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/, enter your full myLife email address (e.g. xxxxxxxx@mylife.unisa.ac.za) and your password, then select “Sign in” to access your mailbox.
What if your password is not working on myLife or O365? You will need to synchronise it. Log in to myUnisa, click on “My Admin” and then on the “Change Password” link. When you update your password there, the new password will become active for both your myUnisa and myLife services.
Please note that during peak periods like registration, it may take up to 30 minutes for the new password to activate on the myLife service. If you are still experiencing problems after resetting, you can contact the support team at MyLifeHelp@unisa.ac.za for assistance.
