UNISA Postgraduate Online Application Date 2026
- Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 2nd September to 18th November.
All applications must be submitted before the closing date. Late applications may not be accepted for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Who Can Apply Online At UNISA for Postgraduate 2026
- Everyone wanting to start a new qualification and/or a new specialisation/stream must apply for admission.
- Applicants in their final year of study towards an undergraduate qualification must apply for admission.
Documents Required to Apply Online For Postgraduate At UNISA 2026
The following documents are required of all Postgraduate applicants for the 2026-2027 academic year:
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) stating all the years of registration, modules passed, and percentages obtained (internet copies will not be accepted).
- International students must also upload a copy of the university ledger.
- Students who obtain qualifications outside the borders of South Africa must have their qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and upload a SAQA certificate of evaluation during the application process (https://www.saqa.org.za).
- Final-year students (excluding Unisa students) who do not yet have an official academic record indicating completion of the qualification must upload the official academic record to Unisa or submit it via e-mail to the relevant college e-mail address by 31 January 2025.
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans.
