Do you want to study courses at Unisa without you needing a matric? Yes,there are some courses in Unisa which one does not require a matric before studying it.

Some people think that without a matric certificate one cannot study further or get a decent career. But academically matric is a qualification on NQF level 4. And also there are many other courses one can study that are accredited on NQF level 4. These courses doesn’t give you a matric certificate but they will give you accredited, recognised alternative qualification which can be use to study up to NQF level 6. Matric does not actually prepares you for a specific job  but it is just an entry requirement to further studies.

However, there are some few courses, which does not require matric as an entry to further studies. One Can enroll into these courses without having a matric certificate. The entry requirement for such courses or qualifications are that you must be older than 16 and that you must have complete Grade 10. Since these courses offered are in English,  you must be able to read, write and understand the English language. Majority of these  courses are aimed at a career.
