Unisa’s online application for the 2024-2025 academic year isopen for undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas. Application for admission to the 2023-2024 academic cycle is open to all interested students o0f all qualifications. All Applicants who did not have the opportunity to apply for the 2023 academic period can apply online for admission to the 2024-2025 academic year.

UNISA Application Date 2024-2025
UNISA Application date vary based on the period of application and qualification of application.
- The application portal for admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year begins in 11 August to 14 October for Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) .
- The portal open on 11 August – 14 October for Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas.
- Also, the portal opens for Master’s & doctoral qualifications on 8 September – 14 November.
NB: Prospective students are advised to apply as soon as possible during this period in order to ensure a position and have enough time to obtain all required documentation.

Who Can Apply To UNISA 2024-2025?
The University of South Africa, UNISA online application is very simple, quick, and accurate. All those who wish to start a new qualification should apply for admission. The application includes the following
- All Unisa applicants applying for the first-time
- All the Unisa students who are changing to a new qualification or want to specialize in a particular programme who earlier on applied for admission and were not able to be offered a space or who were able to get a space and accepted the offer but did not have the opportunity to register.
- Moreover, all students who are completing a higher certificate or any of the programme and wish to further for Undergraduate studies.
- All those who are planning to officially register for classes at any Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College under the Unisa TVET Agreement should also apply for admission to the 2023-2024 academic year.

Documents Required To Apply Online At UNISA 2024-2025
All new qualification candidates must upload all needed documentation. The following documents are necessary for application:
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
