For the academic year 2026-2027, the Florida campus of Unisa will be accepting applications by the following dates:
Unisa Florida Application Date For Undergraduate Qualifications 2025:
- Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to open from 2 September 2025 to 18 November 2025
Unisa Florida Application Date for Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas 2025:
- Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year are to open from 2 September 2025 to 18 November 2025
Unisa Florida Application Date For Master’s & Doctoral Qualifications Diplomas 2025:
- Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 16 September 2025 to 11 November 2025 (some exceptions apply).
Unisa Florida Application Date For Short Learning Programmes Diplomas 2025:
- Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 8 January to 15 February 2025 for 1st semester modules and 8 January to 15 March 2025 for 2nd semester and year modules.
Unisa Florida Services Offered 2026-2027
The following are some of the services the campus offers;
- Counselling: With face-to-face counseling, phone counseling, and e-counselling in this unit.
- Library: The purpose of Library Services is to provide information resources to students that would assist them in their studies or research.
- Tutorial Services: Tutorial services have the purpose of offering face-to-face tutorial services for conventional modules as well as Science Foundation Provision(SFP).
Unisa Florida Application Admission Requirements 2026-2027
All applicants starting a new qualification must upload all the required documents, which generally consist of the following:
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

Unisa Science campuses are situated at the corner of Christian de Wet Road and Pioneer Avenue, Florida, 1709, Gauteng Province. The Campus of Science consists of the following colleges:
- College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) (Calabash Building)
- College of Science, Engineering, and Technology (CSET)
Unisa Florida Campus library is located in the GJ Gerwel Building. The cafeteria is also located in the Dionysus Building.
