UNISA College Of Accounting Application Date 2025
- Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
Please take note of the following:
- All applications for admission must be submitted online.
- Admission to a qualification is not automatic. It will depend on whether you comply with the admission requirements and if space is available.

School of Accountancy:
- Department of Financial Accounting
- Department of Management Accounting
- Department of Auditing
- Department of Taxation
UNISA College Of Accounting Application Requirements 2025
Your admission to Unisa is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
- A National Senior Certificate (NSC) (Degree endorsement) with at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and with at least 50% in Mathematics or a 60% in Mathematical Literacy,
or - a Senior Certificate (SC) with matriculation exemption (or qualify for the exemption from the Matriculation Board) and with at least a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in the language of teaching and learning and with at least
- a D symbol on HG or a C symbol on SG in Mathematics,
or - a Higher Certificate in Accounting Sciences
or - an appropriate Higher Certificate in Economic and Management Sciences,
or - an Advanced Certificate in Accounting Sciences,
or - a Diploma in Accounting or Accounting Sciences.
Applicants who do not meet the admission requirement as indicated above should apply for a lower NQF level qualification for which they meet the statutory and additional requirements.

Pay the application fee once you have received your student number:
- Applicants are to pay R140 for online applications
- Use the 8-digit student number you receive from Unisa AND the application fee reference number (ie YOUR 8-digit STUDENT NUMBER 5370810030)
