Application Fee
Online applications fee is R115 whiles hard copy application fee is R185. This fee is non-refundable even if you choose not to study at Unisa, do not qualify for admission to any Unisa or Unisa cannot offer you a space due to limited spaces available. Unsia does not accept cash at any of its offices but you can deposit cash into the university’s First National Bank account.
Also, the closing date for application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without the application fee paid on time will not be processed. Also, keep a copy of your proof of payment(receipt).
Payment Methods and Banking Details
Unisa provides variety of diverse payment methods for your convenience. The following details ways to pay, payment channels as well as other information.
- Debit cards; Payments using debit card are accepted if payment is made at any Unisa Regional office.
- Credit cards; Credit cards are limited to Visa and Mastercard only. Payment made with credit cards are accepted if payment is made at Unisa in Sunnyside/Florida or any of the regional office.
- Bank deposit; Cash as well direct bank deposits can be made at any First National Bank branch in South Africa. Cheques are not accepted. Use the student number you receive from Unisa and the application fee reference number, that isĀ STUDENT NUMBER: 5370810030.
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT); Unisa banks with the First National Bank, and ensure that you complete the reference field correctly.
Refunds
For refunds, make a request in writing form and sign. Down the refund form PDF to request for a refund. No refunds for credit balances less than R1oo. No refund for application fee but for credit balances exceeding the total study fees paid by sponsors or bursaries.
