All prospective students who intend to apply for admission to the institution must pay the UNISA application fee. This fee is required before UNISA will examine an applicant’s admission application, and it is a required step in the application process. The application fee supports the expenses involved with application processing and guarantees that the institution can manage the large amount of applications it receives each year efficiently.The application fees for UNISA may vary from year to year, as well as depending on the applicant’s degree of study and citizenship status. An online application fee of R125,00 must be paid to Unisa’s account during the application process. You have to also make sure that even if you decide not to study at Unisa or don’t qualify for admission requirements, your application fee is Not Refundable. Additionally, Unisa will not accept any physical cash at their offices. You have to deposit cash into the University’s First National Bank Account.

Unisa Application Fee Payment Method 2024-2025
UNISA provides applicants with several easy options for paying the application fees. Online payment methods such as credit card, debit card, or electronic fund transfer are commonly used. The institution may also accept payment by bank deposit or money order, however it is essential to confirm the permitted payment options before submitting an application. Below are application fee payment method of Unisa;
Bank deposit
Direct Cash and Bank deposit can be made at any First National Bank (FNB) in South Africa if and only if
- You already have a student number
- in respect of fees, for example, study fees, examination fees (supplementary, sick, or special exam fees), exemption fees, and library charges
- provided that the deposit slip is correctly filled in as follows:
- Deposit reference: first eight (8) blocks are for the student number (If the student number consists of only 7 digits, then a “0” must be filled in as the first digit of the student number) leave one block open, then fill in the code number 5400374721 for study fees, 3000774039 for SBL student fees, 5400374225 for library fees or 5352X74608 for Matriculation Exemption fees
- Please, make sure that the deposit slip is correctly filled in as follows:
- Deposit to: Unisa Student Fees
- Bank account number: Unisa Student Fees
- Deposit reference: first eight (8) blocks are for the student number (If the student number consists of only 7 digits, then a “0” must be filled in as the first digit of the student number). Leave one block open, then fill in the following codes:
- 5400374721 for study fees
- 3000774039 for SBL student fees
- 5400374225 for library fees
- 5352X74608 for matriculation exemption fees
- 5370810030 for the application fee
- 5400315164 for access cards.
Please note:
- If any of the details on the bank deposit slip is missing or inaccurate, the bank may not process the transaction and/or will cause the allocation or transfer of funds to your account to be delayed and, as such, the university will not be responsible for any delays incurred.
- Payments will be credited to the research fees account within two ( 2) to ten ( 10) working days, provided that all the information on the deposit slip is correct.
- There are no cheques approved.
