Application Fee Details and Payment Information:
Qualified prospective students who would like to enroll for a program at the University of South Africa (Unisa) can now start the application process, as the admission window is currently open. Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2026 academic year at Unisa are to open from August to October 2025.
Everyone applying for a new qualification must submit the required documents (all first-time applicants and Unisa students starting a new qualification). The due date for uploading the required documents is the closing date for applications. No documents submitted after the closing date for applications will be accepted.
For the academic year 2026-2027, applicants applying for admission at Unisa are to pay an application fee of R140.00. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed.
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa, do not qualify for admission to Unisa or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. Unisa does not provide cashier services and the payment should be made via a bank.

UNISA does not accept cash or checks at its offices, but you can deposit cash into the university’s bank account at First National Bank (FNB) or ABSA Bank branches. UNISA does not provide cashier services, so all payments must be made through a bank. Below are the payment methods of Unisa for 2026:
