The Academic Board of University of South Africa has announced the application open and closing dates for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Applications portal for the University of South Africa is open, ongoing and receiving application from interested high school graduates.
The application portal is open for all high school graduates who meet the admission requirements for the 2024-2025 academic year of the university.

Application Dates for UNISA 2024 Admission
Check application opening and closing dates for Unisa 2023-2024 academic year;
- All Unisa Application dates for 2024-2025 Undergraduate qualifications (Higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degrees) application dates for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open from 11 August to 14 October.
- Application for 2024 Honours degrees and Postgraduate diplomas. The Application dates for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open from 11 August to 14 October.
- Masters and Doctoral qualifications: The application date for Master’s & doctoral qualifications will open from 8 September to 14 November.

How To Apply For Unisa Admission 2024-2025
To apply at Unisa for 2024, ensure that you meet all their qualifications for admission and that you have all the essential documents that are needed to upload during your application process.
The required Supporting Documents are;
- Your certified copy of your school qualifications (Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- A copy of your official tertiary academic records if needed (internet copies will not be accepted)
- A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- A copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

- Log in to the official website of UNISA
- On the registration portal and click on ” Apply for Admission
- Click On “Apply Now”
- Complete the application form with the required information
- Upload certified copies of supporting documents
- Make payment of your non-refundable application fee of R125.00
- Review your application to ensure that your application is complete.
- Submit your application before the closing date.
