The Academic Board of University of South Africa has announced the application open and closing dates for the 2023 academic year. The Applications Website for the University of South Africa will be available from 19th August 2022 for the 2023 academic year. The University of South Africa is recognized as a provider of equal and equitable access to higher education opportunities. Based on its social responsibility to address past inequalities, Unisa has a selection process and application that tackles historical imbalances efficiently without compromising quality standards.
Application Dates for 2023 Admission
Check application opening and closing dates for Unisa 2023-2024 academic year;
- All Unisa Application dates for 2023 Undergraduate qualifications (Higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degrees) application dates for the 2023-2024 academic year will be open from 1 September to 14 October 2023
- Application for 2023 Honours degrees and Postgraduate diplomas. Be reminded that the Application dates for the 2023-2024 academic year will be open from 1 September to 14 November 2023.
- Masters and Doctoral qualifications for the 2023 application have also closed. Application opens from 11 September to 14 November 2022 for the 2023-2024 academic year. There will be no Late Applications for 2023.
How to Apply for Unisa Admission 2023
To apply at Unisa for 2023, check whether you meet all their qualifications for admission and that you have all the essential documents that are needed to upload during your application process.
The required Supporting Documents are;
- Your certified copy of your school qualifications (Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- A copy of your official tertiary academic records if needed (internet copies will not be accepted)
- A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- A copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
