Unisa Mylife Emails are the official email accounts given to Unisa students, staff, and alumni. Managed through the “Mylife” platform, these emails are used for important communication between the university and its community. Every student gets a unique MyLife email address when they enroll, usually in the format “studentnumber@mylife.unisa.ac.za.” This email is the main way to communicate with the university administration, academics, and support staff. You can check your MyLife email by logging into the MyUnisa portal with your student number and password.

Unisa Student Regulations On My Unisa My life

Official communication from the university is sent via e-mail to a student’s myLife e-mail account. The rules for the use of the myLife e-mail account are as follows:

  • The university provides all registered students with a free myLife e-mail address. It is the student’s responsibility to activate their myLife e-mail account as soon as their registration is finalized.
  • The myLife e-mail account will be the only e-mail account recognized by Unisa for official correspondence to and from the university and will remain the official primary e-mail address on record at Unisa.
  • All official communication from the university will be sent to the myLife account. Other additional communication channels may be used from time to time, but the university will communicate with students primarily via their myLife e-mail addresses.
  • The management of this e-mail account remains the responsibility of the student.

How To Access My Unisa My life

Due to a recent Microsoft upgrade, you will no longer be able to directly access your myLife e-mail account while signing in to myUnisa. To access your myLife e-mail account, please follow these steps:

  • Go to the http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/
  • Enter your full e-mail address (eg xxxxxxxx@mylife.unisa.ac.za) and your password for your myLife e-mail account.
  • Select “Sign in”.

My Unisa My Life Login Procedure

In other to log into the Unisa myLife emails, you will need to follow the below procedures:

  • Go to myUnisa homepage @ https://my.unisa.ac.za/portal
  • Claim your Unisa login
  • Enter your student number
  • Enter your personal information
  • Read the guidelines
  • Enter your Only ONE password
  • Click On Login to myUnisa
  • Open your myLife e-mail account
  • Sign out of your myLife e-mail
  • Sign out of your myLife e-mail

How To Re-Activate My Unisa My Life/O365

It may be necessary to reset your myUnisa password to synchronize it with your myLife mailbox.

  • Login to myUnisa and click on “My Admin”.
  • Click on the “Change Password” link.
  • Complete the form to update your password. Please note that this new password will be active for both your myUnisa and myLife services.

  • During peak periods, it may take approximately 30 minutes for the new password to activate on the myLife service. If you are still experiencing problems after resetting your password, please send an e-mail to MyLifeHelp@unisa.ac.za for assistance.
