Unisa MyLife emails are an important means of contact between the institution and its students. Every student obtains a unique MyLife email address upon enrolling, commonly in the pattern “studentnumber@mylife.unisa.ac.za.” This official email serves as the major means of communication between students and the administration, academics, and support personnel at the institution.Log in to the MyUnisa portal with your student number and password to view your MyLife email. Go to the “MyLife Email” area to access your inbox, sent things, and other email-related functions.

How To Access Unisa Mylife Emails

Due to a recent Microsoft upgrade, you will no longer be able to directly access your myLife e-mail account while signed in to myUnisa. To access your myLife e-mail account, please follow these steps:

Go to the http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/
Enter your full e-mail address (eg xxxxxxxx@mylife.unisa.ac.za) and your password for your myLife e-mail account.
Select “Sign in”.

How To Reset Your MyLife / O365

The MyLife email experience from Unisa is simple and similar to that of other major email services. For effective email management, you may create new emails, respond to messages, organise your inbox using folders, and set up filters. It may be necessary to reset your myUnisa password to synchronize it with your myLife mailbox.

Login to myUnisa and click on “My Admin”.
Click on the “Change Password” link.
Complete the form to update your password. Please note that this new password will be active for both your myUnisa and myLife services.

MyLife E-mail Important Information

During peak periods, it may take approximately 30 minutes for the new password to activate on the myLife service. If you are still experiencing problems after resetting your password, please send an e-mail to MyLifeHelp@unisa.ac.za for assistance.
