Application Date For Unisa Undergraduate Qualifications 2026
- Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2026/2027 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2026
Application Date for UNISA Honors Degrees & Postgraduate Diplomas 2026:
- Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2026
Application Date For Unisa Master’s & Doctoral Qualifications 2026:
- Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2026 (some exceptions apply).
Application Date for UNISA Short Learning Programmes 2026:
- Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programs are open from 8 January to 15 February 2026
What Do You Need For My Unisa Application 2026-2027
Firstly, you need to check whether you are qualified for admission and that you have the following required/needed documents ready during the application process:
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted.)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

- Applicants applying for admission into the 2026 academic year at Unisa are to pay an application fee of R140.00

Pay the application fee once you have received a student number from Unisa because fees are not refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa, do not qualify for admission to Unisa, or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available.
