When Are Unisa Results Released 2025
Students are to expect the results of their exams at Unisa by the following dates:
- January / February Examination Period: Results released in March
- May / June Examination Period: Results released in July
- October / November Examination Period: Results released in December
Note:
- Final examination results will be released as they become available on myUnisa.
- No results will be released to a student before he/she has returned all books borrowed from the University Library and settled any outstanding fees.
- No results will be given telephonically by academic or administrative members of staff.
- No timetables for supplementary examination will be made available if fees or Library books are outstanding.
When Can A Student Confirm The Completion Of His/Her Qualification
Students are to note that, confirmation of completion of qualifications for students who wrote examinations in:
- January / February Examinations: Confirmation of qualification completion available from the end of April
- May / June Examinations: Confirmation of qualification completion available from the end of August
- October / November 2024 Examinations: Confirmation of qualification completion available from the end of February 2025
Unisa Examination Fee 2025
- The cost for supplementary, special, and aegrotat examinations is R315.00 per study unit, while remarking of examination scripts costs R550.00 per script, with the closing date for remarking applications for the October / November examinations being 31 January.

How To Obtain Your Unisa Results
The Unisa exams are divided into two categories and results can be obtained by students in two different ways as given below:
Normal assignments
Assignment results can be obtained by:
- logging into your myUnisa to view your results online OR
- Enquire via email to the email address: assign@unisa.ac.za (indicate your student number in the subject heading)
Portfolio assignments
As part of your assessment, you may be asked to submit a Portfolio:
- Portfolios are summative assessments but will be administered via the assignment submission platforms or as indicated in TL 101.
- The results of your non-venue-based summative assessment, will not be available until the examination results are made available.

Please note the following;
- Return all borrowed books from the University Library and pay any Library or outstanding fees before you can get your results.
- Since all exams are not written at the same time, it is not possible to release all examination results at the same time. Please do not contact the university for the results of the examination before the official release date of the results of the exam.
- Students who pass a module and obtain credit for it may repeat it but only for non-degree purposes.
- If no appeal is received from a student within three (3) months from the date of publication of the exam results, the university will consider all results to be correct and complete.
- No results from the exam will be given by telephone or facsimile.
