Exam Timetable Unisa 2024-2025
UNISA has released it exam timetable for the 2024-2025 academic year on it’s official website. UNISA normally follows an academic schedule with specified exam times. The exam timetable is a necessary document that details the dates, hours, and locations of each examination. It acts as a guide for students to successfully prepare and arrange their study routine.
The university usually publishes the examination timetable well in advance of the exam period. Keep an eye on the UNISA website, student portal, or any other official communication channels for exam dates and timings. The final timetable for Unisa exams will be sent to learners prior to the specified date for examination by post and will contain the following information:
- A list of the study units in which students qualify for admission to write examinations.
- A list of study units (if any) in which students do NOT qualify for the examination.
- Particulars of date(s) and time(s) of examination(s).
- Particulars of the examination centre, address and details of the invigilator.
- General instructions in respect of examinations.

- Semester exams in May and June The FINAL TIMETABLE for the May semester tests will be distributed to all candidates on APRIL 15, 2024.If you have not received your final timetable, please contact the Examination Administration Division immediately by sending an email to examinations@unisa.ac.za with your student number.
- Exams in October and November
The FINAL TIMETABLE for the October exams will be provided to all students via myLife on 15 SEPTEMBER and published on MyUnisa.Exams in study units for the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting are also held in October/November, as are those for the Postgraduate Diploma in Auditing.
If you have not received your final timetable, please contact the Examination Administration Division immediately by sending an email to exams@unisa.ac.za with your student number.
- Exams in January and February (including supplemental, aegrotat, and special exams)
In January/February, examinations are held in study units for the Further Diploma in Education and the postgraduate diploma in Advanced Nursing Science, Distance Education, Telecommunications and Information Policy, Tertiary Education, and Translation. They begin on or about January 13 and last until February 23.
- The FINAL TIMETABLE will be issued to students booked to take the examination through MyLife e-mail on November 8th.

NB: The examination timetable must be carefully read. Misreading of examination dates or timings will not be accepted as a grounds for admission to a supplemental examination.
The exam instructions are on the opposite side of the schedule. Contravention of these instructions may result in the application of the Student Disciplinary Code.
