Below is the application date for the Unisa 2025-2026 academic year;
- The online application for the academic year 2025 for undergraduate programs will be open from April and will be closed by May 2025.
- The online application for the academic year 2025 for honors and postgraduate programs wil be open from April and will be closing by May of 2025.
Documents Required To Apply Online At UNISA 2025
The following documents are required to apply for admission at UNISA;
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

To apply for admission at Unisa for the 2025-2026 academic year, follow the steps below:
Create a MyUNISA Account:
- Visit the UNISA website and register for a MyUNISA account.
- This will allow you to access the application portal and manage your application.
Choose Your Qualification:

Complete the Application Form:

Students who gain qualifications outside the borders of South Africa must have their qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and upload a SAQA certificate of evaluation during the application process (https://www.saqa.org.za). Incomplete applications will not be considered.
