How to Apply: Unisa Online Undergraduate Applications for 2025:

The online application portal for Undergraduate qualifications (Higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and degrees, BTech and Postgraduate certificates), Honours degrees, and Postgraduate diplomas is open and accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year at Unisa.

The online application portal is open to all interested individuals who have completed high school in South Africa and Foreign countries, regardless of race, color, and Religion. Apply now to secure a space at UNISA for yourself for the 2025-2026 academic year.

All applicants for a new qualification, including first-time applicants and Unisa students starting a new program, must submit the required documents by the application closing date. Documents submitted after the closing date will not be accepted. Unisa does not offer scanners or electronic devices, applicants must ensure their documents are scanned and uploaded to an electronic device before beginning the application process.

Unisa Online Application Date For Undergraduate 2025

Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.

All applications must be submitted before the closing date, due to limited space in the university. Applications received after the closing date may not be considered

Unisa Online Application Requirements For Undergraduate 2025

All applicants starting a new qualification must upload all the required documents, which generally consist of the following:

Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

NB: Unisa urges all Unisa students who applied before 2016 to upload all the required documents. Failure to do so may result in a delay in processing your application.

Unisa Online Application Fee For Undergraduate 2025

All new applicants applying for admission into Unisa for the 2025 academic year are to pay an application fee of R140.00.

This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa, do not qualify for admission to Unisa, or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. Unisa does not provide cashier services and the payment should be made via a bank.
