Unisa Login 2027-2028
How to Access Your UNISA Account for 2027-2028: A Step-by-Step Guide:
The Unisa Login 2027-2028 is the most important tool for every student who wants to study at the University of South Africa, because without it you cannot access your academic life. Unisa is known as one of the largest distance learning universities in Africa, and everything is managed online through the myUnisa portal. For the 2027 academic year, applications for undergraduate qualifications and honours degrees are open from 17 August to 9 October 2026, while applications for master’s and doctoral qualifications will open on 1 September 2026. Short Learning Programmes will open from 2 November 2026, and applications for the 2028 academic year are expected to open around August 2027. Every new applicant is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R160 to complete the process.
Once your application is successful and you have registered for your modules, your next step is to claim and use your Unisa Login. This login is created using your student number and a password you set during the claiming process. You can access it by visiting the official myUnisa website at my.unisa.ac.za. Through this single portal, you can do almost everything related to your studies. You can register for additional modules, download your study material and tutorial letters, submit your assignments, view your examination timetable, check your results, and manage your personal details.
The Unisa Login also connects you directly to your MyLife email account, which is your official Unisa email address in the format of your student number at mylife.unisa.ac.za. This is the only email address Unisa will use to communicate with you, so it is very important to check it daily. It is powered by Microsoft 365 and gives you access to useful tools like Outlook and Teams. It may take up to 24 hours after claiming your login for your MyLife account to become active. For a smooth 2027-2028 academic journey, always keep your Unisa Login details safe and log in regularly to stay updated.
