Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2026/2027 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2026. Same as Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 2 September 2025 to 18 November 2025. Meanwhile, applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 16 September 2025 to 11 November 2025 (some exceptions apply), and applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 16 September 2025 to 11 November 2025 (some exceptions apply).

Application Date For Unisa Master’s & Doctoral Qualifications 2026:

• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2026 academic year are to be open from 16 September 2025 to 11 November 2025 (some exceptions apply).

Application Date for UNISA Short Learning Programmes 2026:

• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programs are open from 8 January to 15 February 2025 for 1st semester modules and 8 January to 15 March 2025 for 2nd semester and year modules.

• Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
• Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted.)

• Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
• Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
