Unisa NSFAS Application Form 2024-2025

National Students Financial Association Scheme provides financial assistance to Unisa students especially needy students. NSFAS covers tuition, registration, accommodation as well as personal allowances. All interested Unisa students should apply for the NSFAS bursary. Only South African students are eligible to apply for NSFAS.

The Unisa NSFAS Application Form is a document meant to help students enrolled at the University of South Africa apply for financial aid from NSFAS. Eligible students can use this form to request financial assistance for tuition, textbooks, housing, and other educational expenses.

The Unisa NSFAS Application Form is available online via the official NSFAS website or the Unisa student portal. To guarantee a smooth application process, applicants must provide correct and current information. The form will request personal information, academic history, family income, and any impairments or dependents.

UNISA NSAFS Application Date 2024-2025

The UNISA NSFAS applications for 2024-2025 are currently open and will end on January 31, 2024. Interested new and current students must apply now to be considered for NSFAS support for the 2024-2025 academic year.

UNISA NSFAS Application Required Documents 2024-2025

Applicants should also be prepared to submit supporting documentation, which may include identity documents, proof of income, academic records, and any other applicable documentation. In order for your application to be processed attach all supporting documents.  Please attach certified copies of the following documents:

• A certified proof of bank account. This can be a bank statement or letter from the bank where you have your account.
• Certified copy of your Identity Document/Birth Certificate. If you are younger than 16 years of age and do not have a green bar-coded ID, then you must submit a certified copy of your birth certificate.
• Certified copy of Identity Document of each household member including parents or legal guardian.
• Proof of residence
• Certified copy of your latest academic transcript or exam results. If you are currently in Grade 12 you are excluded from this requirement.

NB: All the certified copies of income must not be older than three months and your documents can be certified at the South African Police Service or the South African Post Office.

How To Apply For NSFAS AT UNISA 2024-2025

Follow the steps below to apply online for NSFAS funding at UNISA 2024-2025;

• Go to www.nsfas.org.za
• Look for the tab “MyNSFAS” and click it
• Create an account called myNSFAS
• Click apply tab
• Provide the required information in the provided spaces
• Upload supporting documents
• Review and submit your completed application before the closing date.
