Prospective students must take not of the following dates of the various qualification;

• Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) Application: 11 August to 14 October.
• Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 11 August – 14 October
• Master’s & doctoral qualifications: 8 September – 14 November 2025

Who is Required To Apply At UNISA 2025?

Every applicant, whether they are fresh applicants to Unisa or continuing students seeking to change to a new qualification or specialization, must submit a new application. If you decide to pursue further undergraduate studies after finishing a higher degree or an alternative pathway/extended program , you must apply for admission. Again, if you already applied for admission, received an offer, but did not accept it or failed to register for any reason, you must re-apply for admission.

Anyone who intend to enroll in a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college for classes under the Unisa-TVET agreement must apply for admission.
