Unisa follows an academic calendar that specifies key dates for various activities such as enrollment, lectures, assessments, and examinations. The academic year at Unisa is typically divided into two semesters, with separate registration periods for each. As a result, late registration is not permitted at Unisa; however, if there are still seats available for the selected qualification, you may be considered for particular reasons.
The act of enrolling in courses or programmes after the official registration time has ended is referred to as late registration. Students can register for the forthcoming semester, pick modules, and pay the needed fees during the usual registration period.

Unisa Registration Date 2024-2025
All prospective students are advised to register for their courses during the registration period. Provo9ded below are the registration date for UNISA semester 1& 2 for the 20240-2025 academic year:
Semester 1:
- The registration dates for Unisa’s master’s and doctoral degrees are 9 January to 31 March.
- MCompt, MBA and MBL students must register by 3 February.
Semester 2
Semester 2:
- Semester 2 registration for undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas open from 3 – 28 July (semester modules only).
- Semester 2 registration for MBA and MBL qualifications open from 3 – 28 July (semester modules only).
- Semester 2 registrations for Short Learning Programmes open from 22 May to 14 July.

UNISA registration procedure is quite syimple and easy. The registration proccess must be done on the official registration portal of UNISA. Follow the steps below to register at UNISA for the 2024-2025 academic year;
