Currently, the online registration for the academic year 2026 has not yet opened, however, the second-semester registration is open for the academic year 2024 and is still ongoing. Below is the Unisa second-semester registration date for the year 2026:

Register For Undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas At Unisa:

Registration for the 2026/2027 academic year for undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas (including CTA) has been extended to 28 February 2027 for semester modules. The final date for initial minimum payments has also been extended to 28 February 2027. Registration for year modules will be open until 31 March 2027.

Register For Master’s & doctoral qualifications At Unisa:

• Registration for selected master’s and doctoral qualifications is open until 30 June 2027.

Register For Short Learning Programmes At Unisa:

• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes will be open from 10 January to 15 March 2027.
