Unisa 2027 Registration

Are you a prospective student planning to further your studies next year? The Unisa 2027 Registration window is now open for postgraduate students. The University of South Africa has officially announced that applications for an Unisa 2027 honours degree or postgraduate diploma will run from 17 August to 9 October 2026, giving you just under two months to secure your spot.

This is a critical period for anyone looking to upgrade their qualification, specialise in their field, or meet the entry requirements for a master’s degree. Unisa is one of the most sought-after open distance learning universities in Africa, and spaces for honours and postgraduate diplomas are limited and highly competitive.

The Unisa 2027 registration process for honours and postgraduate diplomas is done entirely online through the myUnisa application portal. To apply, you will need a valid student number, certified copies of your academic records, ID or passport, and proof that you meet the minimum admission requirements for your chosen qualification. If you are a returning Unisa student, your academic transcript will be pulled automatically, but new applicants must ensure all documents are uploaded correctly.

Many students lose their chance by waiting until the last week. The portal gets extremely busy close to the 9 October 2026 deadline, and late applications are not accepted by Unisa. Whether you want to apply for a BCom Honours, BA Honours in Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, or Education, now is the time to act. In this guide, we will walk you through how to complete your Unisa 2027 Registration for honours and postgraduate diplomas, application fees, required documents, and how to track your application status after you apply.
