Unisa Exams 2024-2025
All information in regards to Unisa examinations are all available on this page. As a student of Unisa, please reading through the following details in order for you to know the “do’s and don’ts ” of the examinations.
The University of South Africa (Unisa) offers a variety of tests that assess its students’ understanding of topics and subjects. As a distance education school, Unisa uses a variety of testing methodologies to serve its huge student body dispersed across several places.

The FINAL TIMETABLE for the May semester tests will be distributed to all candidates on APRIL 15, 2024. If you have not received your final timetable, please contact the Examination Administration Division immediately by sending an email with your student number to examinations@unisa.ac.za.
The FINAL TIMETABLE for the October examination will be distributed to all applicants on September 12th. Exams in study units for the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, as well as the Postgraduate Diploma in Auditing, are also held in October/November.
If you have not received your final timetable, please contact the Examination Administration Division immediately by sending an email with your student number to examinations@unisa.ac.za.
Examinations for the Further Diploma in Education and the postgraduate diploma in Advanced Nursing Science, Distance Education, Telecommunications and Information Policy, Tertiary Education, and Translation are held in January/February in study units. They begin on the 24th of January and end on the 18th of February.
Please contact Examination Arrangements as soon as possible if you have not received this timetable.Candidates get the timeframe for the extra, aegrotat, and special tests along with their exam results.

UNISA Examination Timetables 2024-2025
At the time of registration, all students will have a provisional examination timetable available to ensure that they are able to make an informed decision. On the Unisa website are the examination dates for all modules.
UNISA Pass mark And Distinction 2024-2025
For most modules, the pass mark is 50%. A qualification passed with distinction is when;
Remarking and Rechecking an Examination Answer Script
Only those students in a study unit who get 35% -49% or 68% -74% will apply for a review from such an examination script. All students may apply to have the university recheck their examination answer scripts. The fee charged for the rechecking process will be refund if as a result of the rechecking process the student obtains a higher score.
