UNISA College of Science Engineering and Technology
The College of Science Engineering and Technology is dedicated to providing Science Engineering and Technology programmes that are affordable, accessible, high-quality, and relevant. As a result, we provide innovative implementation methods and frameworks that benefit our large student population through outstanding research, community involvement programmes, instructional and administrative personnel, and processes.
The college provides graduates with a supportive atmosphere in which they can advance their scientific, engineering, and technology skills in a way that is both nationally and internationally important.
UNISA College of Science Engineering and Technology consists of the following schools and departments
School of Science: The UNISA College of Science Engineering and Technology School of sciences is made up of the following departments:
- Department of Chemistry
- Department of Mathematical Sciences
- Department of Physics
- Department of Statistics
School of Engineering: At the School of Engineering, students are interested in becoming technical technicians and technologists in a variety of engineering disciplines that will enroll them in National Diploma and Degree courses in Engineering by open distance learning (ODL). The College of Science Engineering and Technology School of Engineering consists of the following departments
- Department of Civil and Chemical Engineering
- Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
- Department of Electrical and Mining Engineering
School of Computing: The School of Computing offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. A variety of specialized short learning programs are also available through the Centre for Software Engineering (CENSE). We have the knowledge and experience to get you to the top, regardless of your educational level. We’ve made a name for ourselves as a pioneer in the field of computing. It consists of the following departments

- Department of Short Learning Programmes
