The Business Management Department offers the following undergraduate qualifications for all students who meet the qualification requirements. The aim of this qualification is to prepare learners to operate and perform at an operational level in an organisation.
Diploma in Explosives Management
In a cost-effective explosives manufacturing environment, a person obtaining this certification will be able to apply explosive technology, apply quality control and safety systems. A individual with this certification is capable of supervising people in development, implementing quality management and quality assurance concepts, serving as a team leader and handling organizational changes.
Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management
The primary aim of the qualification is to provide qualifiers with knowledge at the graduate level, relevant skills, applied skills and the requisite attitudes in trade and industry related fields that prepare them to be lifelong learners, employable employees/entrepreneurs and contributors to society and the business community.
Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management (Extended Programme);
The extended Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management program is a four-year program that includes a foundational year of studies. It caters for and trains all students who do not meet the regular Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management entry criteria.
