Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2026 academic year to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2026.
Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2026 academic year to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2026.
Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2026 academic year to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2026 (some exceptions apply).
Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programs are open from 14 May to 19 July 2026.

How To Check The Status Of Your Application For Admission 2026-2027

To know the status of your application, follow the steps below:

Go to the official Unisa website at www.unisa.ac.za.
Click on the “myUnisa” link to log in
Enter your login credentials. Provide your student number (or application number) and the password.
Once logged in, navigate to the “My Admin” tab.
Click on the options to check the status of your application.

Your application status might be classified as one of the following:

Accepted provisionally: Congratulations! You have satisfied the admission standards, and your application has been approved temporarily. In some situations, you may be required to provide extra papers or meet certain requirements.
Pending Additional Review: Your application is still being reviewed, and the admissions committee needs more time to make a decision. Please be patient at this time.
