Unisa 2025 Online Applications for Undergraduate Studies:

At Unisa, the selection process calculates your individual points score, considering your final Grade 12 marks and factors like the school you attended, gender, socio-economic group, and race; before applying, ensure you meet both statutory and college-specific admission requirements, as well as the required Academic Points Score (APS), which varies by college and qualification.

Applicants seeking to begin a new qualification must apply for admission, including first-time Unisa applicants and current students switching to a new qualification or specialization. If you are completing a higher certificate and wish to pursue further undergraduate studies, you must also apply for admission. Additionally, if you previously applied, and were offered a place, but did not accept the offer or register, you must reapply for admission.

Application Dates for UNISA 2025 Admission

Check application opening and closing dates for the Unisa 2025-2026 academic year:

• Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August and be closed on 11 October 2024.
• Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August and close on 11 October 2024.
• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September and close on 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).
• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July.

To apply at Unisa for 2025, ensure that you meet all their qualifications for admission and that you have all the essential documents that are needed to upload during your application process.

The required Supporting Documents are:

• Your certified copy of your school qualifications (Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
• A copy of your official tertiary academic records if needed (internet copies will not be accepted)
• A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
• A copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
• Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

• On the registration portal click on ” Apply for Admission
• Click On “Apply Now”
• Complete the application form with the required information
• Upload certified copies of supporting documents
• Make payment of your non-refundable application fee of R140.00
• Review your application to ensure that your application is complete.
• Submit your application before the closing date.
