Unisa Master’s & Doctoral Qualifications Application Date 2025:

• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).

Unisa Honours Degrees & Postgraduate Diplomas Application Date 2025:

• Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.

Unisa Short Learning Programmes Application Date 2025:

• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July.

University Of South Africa Admission Application Document And Requirements

Applicants applying for admission into Unisa for the academic year 2025 are to upload the following documents:

• Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
• Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
• Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
• Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
• Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

• Everyone applying for a new qualification must submit the required documents (all first-time applicants and Unisa students starting a new qualification).
• The due date for uploading the required documents is the closing date for applications.
• No documents submitted after the closing date for applications will be accepted.
